Why This Dish Is Amazing
Pro Cooking Tips
- Use a thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F for safety.
- For even cooking, flip the wings halfway through baking or frying.
Step 1
Warm up your oven’s broiler. Toss the quartered jalapenos onto a baking sheet and broil them until they just begin to brown—this usually takes about 5 minutes per side. Once they’re done, take them out and let them cool enough so you can handle them comfortably. Keep the broiler on for the next steps.
Step 2
Stuff each jalapeno quarter with a strip of pepper jack cheese. Then, wrap each one with a piece of chicken and a strip of bacon, securing everything with toothpicks to hold it all together. Arrange these on the baking sheet.
Step 3
Pop them back under the broiler and cook until the cheese is melted and the chicken and bacon are fully cooked, about 5 minutes per side should do it. Serve them up on a platter with buffalo wing sauce and bleu cheese dressing on the side for dipping. Enjoy!
