Tips To Improve This Recipe
- Preheat the grill to medium-high to get a nice char without burning the spices.
- Turn the wings frequently to cook them evenly and keep them juicy.
Step 1
Cut the wings into sections, tossing out the tips. Season them well with poultry seasoning salt, garlic salt, and black pepper. Heat your grill to medium and give the grates a light coating of oil to keep things from sticking.
Step 2
Place the wings on the grill and cook them, turning every now and then, until the skin turns a nice golden brown—this should take about 45 minutes. To make sure they’re done, check that the temperature near the bone hits 165°F.
Step 3
While the wings are cooking, pour your hot sauce into a microwave-safe dish and add the butter. Warm it up in the microwave for about a minute until the butter melts, then stir everything together.
Step 4
Once the wings are off the grill, dip them into the sauce, pop them back on the grill for 3 minutes, then dip them again and grill for another 3 to 5 minutes. After that, place the wings in a serving dish and coat them with any leftover sauce. Enjoy!
