Why This Recipe Is So Popular
Cooking Tips
- Chill the mixture before shaping to make handling easier.
- If the treats are too soft, add a bit more crushed cookies or nuts for firmness.
Directions
Blend the crushed sandwich cookies, chopped walnuts, and powdered sugar in a big bowl. Pour in the coffee liqueur and corn syrup, then stir everything together until it’s well combined. If the mixture feels too dry, add a little more coffee liqueur, about a teaspoon at a time, until it holds together nicely. Next, pour some cocoa powder into a shallow dish. Take spoonfuls of the cookie mixture and roll them into balls, then coat each one in the cocoa powder. Place the treats in an airtight container and pop them in the fridge for at least 8 hours, or overnight, to let everything set.
