Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Why You'll Keep Making This
Helpful Cooking Tips
- Avoid pressing down on the patties while cooking to keep them tender.
- Let the burgers rest for a few minutes after cooking to retain their juices.
Step 1
Shap the ground beef into four equal-sized patties. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high for a couple of minutes until it’s nice and hot. Add the burgers and let them brown on one side, which should take about 2 minutes, then flip them over.

Step 2
Turn the heat down to medium and sprinkle half of the salt and pepper on the cooked side. Flip the burgers again and cook for about 6 minutes. Season the other side with the remaining salt and pepper, flip once more, and let them cook for another 6 minutes.

Step 3
Now, pour half of the Worcestershire sauce over the burgers, flip them, and cook for 2 more minutes. Repeat with the rest of the sauce, cooking for an additional 2 minutes. To make sure they’re cooked through, check that the internal temperature hits at least 160°F (71°C).
