Ingredients

- 1 pound thick-cut bacon
Why This Recipe Is So Flavorful
Expert Cooking Tips
- Use a grill basket or foil to prevent smaller pieces from falling through the grates.
- Brush the maple-chipotle glaze on the bacon during the last few minutes of cooking to keep it from burning.
Directions
Gently heat your grill to medium-high and give the grate a quick brush with oil to prevent sticking. In a small bowl, mix together the maple syrup and chipotle powder until well combined. Once the grill is ready, set a disposable aluminum pan on the upper rack or off to the side over indirect heat to keep the cooked bacon warm. Lay the bacon strips directly on the hot grate and turn the heat down to low. Grill the bacon, flipping often, until it’s nicely browned and crispy—this should take about 4 to 6 minutes. Move the cooked bacon to the pan to stay warm. Then, put the bacon strips back on the grill and brush both sides generously with the maple-chipotle glaze. Let them cook for just about a minute more so the glaze gets nice and sticky. Serve right away and enjoy!
