What Makes This Dish So Tasty
Helpful Cooking Tips
- Don’t overcook the shrimp; they only need a few minutes on each side.
- Adjust the Cajun seasoning to your preferred spice level for a milder or hotter dish.
Directions
Heat some oil in a pan over medium heat. Once it’s hot, toss in the shrimp and cook them for about 1 to 2 minutes. Then, sprinkle in the onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, thyme, paprika, red pepper flakes, cayenne, salt, and pepper. Pour in a little water to keep the spices from sticking or burning, and give everything a good stir. Let the shrimp cook for another 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally until they’re nice and firm but not rubbery. When they’re just about done, add a pat of butter and mix it in until melted. Take the pan off the heat and you’re ready to serve!
