Why This Recipe Is So Good
Quick Kitchen Tips
- Prepare all ingredients ahead of time to make assembly quick and easy.
- Adjust the spice level by adding more or less chili or sriracha according to your taste.
Step 1
Gently heat a little oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken until it’s nicely browned and no longer pink inside, which should take about 8 minutes. Once done, take it off the heat.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix the cooked chicken with the peanut sauce, shredded carrot, bean sprouts, and soy sauce until everything is well combined.
Step 3
Set up your bento box by placing the chicken mixture in one section. In another, add the separated lettuce leaves. Use the remaining compartments for the red cabbage, peanuts, chopped green onion, and lime wedges.
Step 4
When you’re ready to eat, scoop some of the chicken mixture into a lettuce leaf, top it with any of the extras you like, and wrap it up. Enjoy!
